escaped baby garter!!!

cattaylor Aug 14, 2003 08:57 PM

I had put the baby garter I rescued from my cat in a seperate cage from my other garter so I could see who was eating what, and now he has escaped! I have a feeling he is behind my bookcases, but there is no way for me to tell. I feel so awful about it! I've put out bowls of water around the house so if he gets thirsty, at least he will have those. Any advice on finding him? He's just a baby. how long should I hold out hope?

My mom found him this morning in her bathroom! He was slithering along the wall, and he went straight into a hole next to my parents' shower. My mom had no idea how to get him out, so she put the water bowl I had placed out for him in front of the hold, and a shoebox behind that so he couldn't get free into the house again. When she came to check on him, there was water splashed on the floor by the bowl, and my baby was curled up around the rim!
I'm so happy we found him!
