Erik,
Great shots of a couple of neat snakes. It's amazing how similar those Eddy Co. snakes are to Val Verde Co. ones. Perhaps it's the shared limestone substrate. SBF area?

Yep, SBF area! I agree on them looking like lepidus from the eastern portion of their range. How've you been Tom? Thanks again for showing me my first live laticinctus. You still have that property out there?
Erik,
Doing well, thanks. I still have the Wilson Co. property but will likely sell it off shortly since I generally see all the copperheads I care to in my back yard!
After two years of extreme drought conditions, this year we are having a very wet and cool spring. Road cruising around here has not been very productive.
If you would, send me your E-mail address to tomlott AT thornscrub DOT com. I have some questions for you about a New Mexican species I believe you have been successful in seeing.
