I need a quick opinion

I have an opportunity to buy a plated lizard. I am sure that I can take care of it and meet it's needs, but I have limited space. How big of an enclosure does an adult plated lizard need to have? Would a 20 gal enclosure take care of things?

Definitely not. A good size for an adult sudan plated would be a ground space of 5 x 3 ft or bigger. In smaller cages they tend to become extremely obese and inagile.

that would depend on the type of plated lizard you are getting. Some plated species are MUCH smaller than others.
The little ornate plated lizards would probably do fine in a 20L, but a monster like my black-lined plated would need a 55 gallon or larger.
