Got my new frilly today! Need advice...

jason_mc May 30, 2007 01:14 PM

Just got my frilly today from DHL. Alive, well and active (well, at least it tried to run away from me.) I made sure its enclosure (which is temporary and measures 18x18x24) was prepared and in the proper temperature/humidity ranges yesterday. I've got the enclosure surrounded so that it can't really see outside of it to reduce stress. We're trying to keep it quiet and keeping all animals away from the enclosure. I also threw a couple crickets in there just in case it got hungry.

Am I doing OK so far? I want to make sure I give it the best start possible. Is there anything else I should do to help with the new arrival?

(Pictures soon, after my camera's battery charges )

Sounds really good. Depending on where/who you got it from would make you decide to get parasite work done on the little guy. At least get a fecal test done so you know whats what....
thanks,
miz

I think it is supposed to be parasite-free, but I think I'll get a fecal done regardless. Better safe than sorry!
