Destiny laid another 24 eggs this week. That brings the count up to 161, that's 8 clutches of eggs since Oct. of 2006.. oh man will it ever end?
Last time she did it, 40 days before the eggs were all different sizes, I wondered then could that mean it's the end?
Apparently not!
In the beginning I felt like I hated to destroy her eggs, she works so hard but if I had allowed that many to incubate & we had that many.. I can't even imagine allowing that to happen. Can't sell them or give them away so that they'll be dumped in the country side like she was.
That last 5 clutches I think(?) have all gone outside the fence for wild animals to eat & they like that.
I wish this would STOP!
