This one froglet/toadlet came from our pond near St. Louis. Thus far this is the only tadpole I have seen morph. It appears as if he is shy one eye as well. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be? It is about 1/2" long in the photos.

We still have what I believe to be toad tadpoles (they are about 1/2" in diameter now) and some other 1/8" black tadpoles that recently appeared.

Thanks,
rhodo

Thanks Otis,

This week it's either green froglets or leopard froglets showing up. Cute little lime green suckers. Amazing what can come out of a 100 gallon stocktank.
