Would it be alright to feed my Russian tortoise kudzu? Also, how far should a 5.0 UVB light be from the substrate?

I don't know. I seem to remember hearing somewhere that it maybe had a high alkaloid content and that didn't sound good. I remember one guy some years ago who said he was gonna have it tested to see if it was safe for prairie dogs to eat, but then never heard anything afterwards.
