It appears to be a hatchling Three Toed Box turtle, but it is hard for me to tell. It could be an Eastern. Where is it from? How many toes on the hind feet?

It appears that there are only three toes. There is a fourth really small nub but it doesn't have a nail. It was found in Missouri, Springfield area.

You have a Three-toed box turtle, Terrapene carolina triunguis

Dan
