I have an argentine female who is trying to poop and puked her food. I don't know what the problem is but I felt a oblong shaped, hard object in her abdoninal region. She just started all this today. I have tried to give her mineral oil and a warm bath but so far (3hrs) nothing is happening. For a while I thought she might be gravid cause she seemed to be getting fatter but I haven't felt anything excpet for that lump.
I picked her up today to get her in the bath and she burped something fierce. I am figuring she is colicing, I caught her once rolling. BUt I am not sure. Never seen or heard of a lizard colicing. Please help!

See a vet asap.

With those symptoms it sounds serious. Rolling? Like the death roll they do if they don't want to be handled? Rolling for no apparent reason?

Everything is well. I don't have any good Vets in my area so I do everything myself. Or I ask my vet that i have for my dogs and he can kinda relate but he doesn't know much so he will give what i would need and i do it on my own. But with the tegu she was impacted. Losts of mineral oil, massaging and enimas! Not a fun few nights but eventually it worked. How she got impacted beats me. She has never done it in the past and we have had her for over 3 years with no problems. Just goes to show you always have to be on your toes.

What was she impacted with? Was it fur?
