american toad not eating

i recently colected an american toad near my friends house i have him in my terrarium and he has not eatin anything for about a week all he seems do do is borrow in the substrate/hide from me. im very worried so please if anyone can help me?

well first of all you should not collect anything from the wild unless it is hurt or injured.
your toad is not eating because he is stressed, give it a few more days,but mean while try offering it some crickets.make sure you have a lot of dirt in the tank for burring.
what size tank do you have him in?
what did you try to feed it?
do you have a water bowl in there?
Is he skinny or look sick, because it may be sick,the sick ones easy to catch and the healthy ones to fast to catch.

if he does not start eating in a few days or so, i suggest you let him go.

yah i have him in a 10gallon tank with plenty of water i have alot of peat for him to borrow into and ive tried feeding him crickets, slugs, snails, and worms and he wont eat any
