Geckos on my porch

eddleman Jun 13, 2007 02:16 PM

I have a colony of geckos on my front porch.
Can anyone help me without a photo.

Here's the description:

They are small, white and they have big eyes...
some sort of night gecko or albino...I have about
12 that live on my front porch.

I'm in South Texas.

Thanks.

It would have to be the Mediterranean gecko (Hemidactylus turcicus). It is a common gecko in S. Texas, it also the only one that clings to walls in Texas with the exception of the Roughtail gecko that is found only in Galveston. Hope this helps.

It's most likely a Mediterranean gecko
