modifisci Jun 16, 2007 04:33 PM

i have had my male for 13 years.my first attempt of breeding him failed, for the female was stressed heavily and died shortly after she was sent to me.

i now have 2 females and they seem to all get along fine.they constantly breed as weel.how do i tell when teh females are ready to lay eggs?

Hopefully you have a place where they can lay their eggs. They like to lay their eggs early in the day or early evening after it rains.

They will need a small land area to lay their eggs, filled with at least 4 inches of slightly moist sand. Check the area for eggs regularly: they are good at nesting/hiding the eggs when you are not there!
