Frog images in dorsal and ventral views

mehjones78 Jun 20, 2007 05:11 AM

Hello

I'm currently working on a paper that discusses body size in frogs. In order to demonstrate differences diagramatically we are compiling a montage of plan silhouettes to the same scale. In order to create the silhouettes we require photos in either ventral or, preferably, dorsal view. For some species tracking down adequate photos in these views has proved surprisingly difficult.

The frogs we are most interested in include:
The North American Leopard/Meadow Frog (Rana pipiens)
The South American Ornate Horned Frog Ceratophrys ornata
The West African Goliath Frog

If you happen to have any such images or know where some might be please get in touch. You will of course be gratefully acknowledged in the paper.

We would also like dorsal/ventral view images of Ceratophrys aurita.

Many thanks

Marc
