Incubating Spotted Turtle Eggs

Nowayuall Jun 21, 2007 06:57 PM

I have three spotted turtle eggs that I had to dig up from my yard because they were in a dangerous position, they were only in the ground for a day or part of a day but they got something heavy on them and each one has a small indentation in the middle, otherwise they look fine. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is bad for the eggs or if it could have damaged the turtles? This is the first time that I will have incubated turtle eggs and I will also be a first time turtle owner now. I am nervous to do everything to keep the eggs safe and well. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The eggs got cold during the night to 58 is that bad? I don't know how long they were like that. I am trying to get them warmed back up now. Anyone experience this?
