I found this lizard sunning itself on a rock near my house yesterday. It was missing most of it's tail. It was very docile and easy to catch. I'm not sure if this was due to it's temperment or a possible illness or injury. Anyway if someone could help me ID it it would be great.

Its a Sceloperus (fence swift). I'm not sure of the species, it depends on where you live. thanks...Tom C.
