Young radiated rat

He actually showed a bit of a throat display which is rare. This little guy is getting very tame. A young radiated rat can downright test your reflexes but I no longer have to prepare myself for his explosion out of the tank.

Great photo's ... thanks for sharing I've noticed with the ones that I've kept over the years that they are calm as juveniles but when they get to around 18 months they get the attitude back again. Great species though very alert and intelligent.
