Taiwanese Turtle?

colorfulcritters Jul 05, 2007 10:57 PM

I found a 8" turtle in Taiwan, injured, has an olive colored shell, slight rigdges, and thin yellow lines all across its head. It also has a yellow plastron with black spots.

Anyone have any idea? I don't know what it's called nor how to take care of it.

there are a lot of Asian turtles that like similar ...if you could post a couple of pics that would help ...a pic of the head ,top shot ,and belly shot would be good.

Second that, a pic would be most helpful. There are many species imported by Southeast Asia for both the food and pet market so it could be any one of a number of species. You might want to check out pics of the Chinese Golden Thread Turtle (Ocadia sinensis) to compare.
