Just in case anyone is following this...I managed to get two syringes full of squash babyfood down her with only a short wrestling match. I'll repeat again tomarrow if nothing moves. At least I got something in the front end!!

keep doing it
make sure you clear the lung opening
the sticks they check your throat with at the doctors with work for getting mouths open on torts
tickle the torts butt and tail to get her head out
this is gross but effective in most situations
the bean farm sells mandible openers for torts and snakes for a few bucks online
those really work good due to open center to insert the syringe in to.
