Question about tree frogs

blankminded Jul 09, 2007 01:17 PM

I have 2 grey tree frogs in a 12x12x12 exoterra right now. They are doing great and love to eat. I just got a 37 gallon high and was gonna turn it into a live viv. My question is what other kind of tree frogs can i put in there with these guys. I know alot of people dont like to mix other species in the same tank. I just want a few different types of tree frogs in there. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Well it is a good thing that you are upgrading, those small Exos are only about 5 gal! They need minimum 10gal for one and plus 5 each additional, minimum. So that is good.

You don't want to put anything else in that tank. It is a bad idea all around. You could get another gray, but really your two will be quite happy not being cramped with a bunch of others bothering them. Besides it leaves you room to put in some really nice plants and wood and vines.

Here is a thread on another site that may help with not mixing.
