Hey everyone,
I have been researching Wagleri, for quite some time now and I saw the add on kingsnake, and decided I might take advantage of it. I feel I am ready for it, but still have a few questions. I don't mean to be cheap but I wanted to put a baby female wagleri in a exoterra I had extra, until she gets some girth on her then I will move her to a vision. Just wondering if this sounds good to you. I have experience keeping humidity in these cages because I have raised green tree pythons and etb's in them. So anyone with anything to say on this subject, please chime in. Phobos, I was the one that contacted you a few months ago on this species and I have finally decided to settle on this species. Thank you for your help through emails, and I was wondering if you could put out another T. Wagleri video please! And if you could direct me to the place you get those little trees you used for the neonate eyelash vipers, I feel they will be useful. Thanks all!

Hi

Babies will definitely do much better in smaller enclosures, so don't feel guilty about putting them in a plastic shoe box or critter cage. It's a matter of security for them and they will be insecure and stressed in a cage that is too large with not enough cover. Lots of animals will gobble up small vipers in the wild, so they have the need to hide well. Opaque shoe boxes work great because they feel like they are in their own little niche and they will be more secure and feed better for you. Hope this helps.
