I really don't like the clamps that come with most reptile lights. You can't get the light straight vertical and the are just cheesy.
I messed with some PVC this weekend and came up with a solution.
Anyone else ever try something different?

Very nice. And it's adjustable. Will have to try that.

I use a drum stool upside down and attach my lamps to the legs. It rotates, has 3 legs, clamps can be adjusted vertically somewhat and holds lamps for 2 different cages.

I would never laugh at a mans attempt to deal with getting rid of those crappy clamps.

Here is ver 2 of mine. A lot sleeker and has an active clamping mechanism that won't break the glass.
