Black Cats Breeding!

BillyBoy Jul 17, 2007 07:23 PM

I just got this pair of black Telescopus dhara less than a week ago. The female was obviously in shed, and I didn't think the male was big enough to breed yet. When I came home today, I checked to see if the female had shed yet. Not only did I find her freshly shed skin, but also saw this. Now for the big question - does anyone have any experience incubating T. dhara eggs? If not, I guess I'll just set them up like other colubrid eggs and cook them at around 80 and see what happens.

Thanks! I really like all the Telescopus and am very hopeful for this pair. Now if only my Eastern Tigers would get busy...

Of course, if I do get eggs, there will be many pics hopefully followed by pics of neonates!!

Are you going to be finding homes for the neonates if you get lucky? If so I am so interested
