Here are some pictures of our yearling Sulcata in our yard. He spends most of his day outside in the summer months.

Very cool! I keep my hermanns indoors but with a thick substrate (4-6 inches) and he digs burrows too.

He is still working on his den – we measured it yesterday and it is 31” deep!

Well, his burrow now measures 43" deep. Here is a picture of him sunning on his front porch.

Ha ha..that's great!!! I have a 2 year old that I keep separated from my 4 year old unless i'm out watching and she started digging herself a hole to China. So the other day I let them interact and my 4 year old (who burrows in his dog house) found her hole and thought it was the best thing in the world--he got in and started throwing out dirt to make it bigger for him. I came out to check on them and he was completly covered in dirt, let's just say he's not a pro at this hole digging a hole and in excavation. I felt bad so i'm going to clear an area for him to start digging. I like it since they can thermo regulate their temps better. Especially in HOT AZ!!
