Hypo gives birth

scott_felzer Jul 24, 2007 05:14 PM

This hypo Florida female just produced a small clutch of babies, 12 total. Found 2 outside the container, one on a shelf far away from its mom's container and the other on the floor. She was so fat I expected 20 to 30 babies. The gestation for her was around 18 weeks...does anyone know if this is the normal gestation period for nerodia? I'll get pics of the babies up shortly.

Pics of the het hypo babies. The one in the middle may actually be a hypo. If you look closely at it, it resembles the female that produced it. This is the first year breeding this line so it will be interesting to monitor it as it grows and if it ends up being hypo.

Thanks a lot, this particular hypo is a cool morph. A couple of the babies look similiar to her, would be cool if they do end up being hypo.
