i need help urgently!!!!!!!

my baby res has like a white fungus on its shell,i think its getting worse,it seems to have made a dent in the shell were it grows.he has accsess to sunlight outside for abot 20 minutes a day.can somone tell m how to treat it.

I don't see any spots but give it more sunlight hours. Also give it somewhere so to not be submerged. If in water constantly fungus may develope but water changes & giving time to dry but not dehydrate will usually kill the fungus. Give some good food & all should be well soon.

I would go to ALL TURTLES .com they have alot of info on just about everything to do with res,, but in the pic it looks like a yellow ear slider, any who I know they need more light than that , mine have a sun lamp, and the water has to be kept around 78, (very important) they will get respitory infecs, and that is a little costly, I would contact that site , they're pretty good about getting right back to you, or just contact a herpatologist.
