If you search enough forums, you can find someone to justify what you want to do. However, it is NEVER a good idea to mix species. Each has a different parasite load that can cause health problems for one species and there are also environmental concerns. It is difficult to provide an adequate environment for two disparate species in an enclosed space. The result is that both usually have a reduced lifespan.
