Well I'm shipping my brown kukri to a bud who wants him and my friend thats shipping him picked him up and decided to hold him firm to look at his belly.

Well 'Saber' didn't like that and bit him. Carl laughed the " How cute a little snake is biting me" laugh. Followed by an ouch and other words as the kukri slice him across the finger and then his forearm.

So this 136 g of death has him sliced open in two spots and blood is pouring out. Instead of round punctures, he has 3 mm slices all over. Took alot of bandages.

lol does it need stiches or is it minor scrapes?

Carl is ok, he just bled alot. I can't imagine if Kukri's were 4 feet or larger what would have happened.

are they a rear fanged species? and there main diet is eggs right? thats what the tooth is for ?

They aren't rear fanged just have wicked teeth for slicing open eggs.

I remember an article about the defensive displays of one of the larger species in which the authors mention as an aside that even the small ones were capable of some really messy bites, and that you should be really careful handling them.

I've had the chance to look at some preserved specimens, and they're pretty impressive.
