brown water snake

I got a trio of brown water snakes.I was wondering if anybody had sucess switching them to rodents?If so did you use the normal tricks if not what you do?

I've put in a mouse intended for a blacksnake that happened to be in the same box with toads and a water snake ate it immediately. They seem to take mice much easier than hognose, although for me, mice cost a lot more than minnows or goldfish. Where are you that you catch so many browns?

To get my little Plain Belly eatting, I just stuck a pinky in his water with some fish and he ate all the fish and the pinky...
