The tank looks great, but why are you putting clowns and retfs in the same tank?

Not a good idea at all, they are different species and should be separate.

You wouldn't put different geckos together, it is the same for frogs.

The reason i am concidering putting these 2 types of frogs together is b/c from what ive read they have the same requirements. I know some people have a problem with mixing different types of animals together but if they will get along and have the same requirements then i dont really see the problem. I might be wrong witht he retf and clowns and if i have someone please let me know. But, from what i have read and the people i have talked to so far so it can work.

It's not that they don't have the same requirements, they do. What is comes down to is that each has its own parasites, bacteria etc that while fine with their own kind hurt other species. It may be fine for a while, but then unexplicably one or the other may get sick or die.

They need access to water, will that be blocked by one or the other? They need to eat and have hides and many places to themselves in the tank. Bullying is easy to spot in people and maybe dogs etc it is different in frogs they intimidate without making forceful movements, intimidating others and stressing them to not eat, not get to water.

You see it often in same species, for instance darts of many varieties can only be housed in pairs, more than one female will cause issues, many times one will die from not eating without the other having touched it.

I know many will tell you it will be fine, it is a choice you will make. I guess I don't understand the issue? Why not another tank, one for each?
