It was 9:00 AM central. The temp was probably in the mid 80s.

My baby black racers just started hatching yesterday. Only one has fully came out of the egg. He's a hungry or feisty little guy.
Oh? Are you captive raising some colubers? I would love to see some pipping/hatching shots! I didn't know anybody really kept racers in captivity much. Are you hatching these to release? I know a lot of people I know consider racers to be trash snakes but I think they are very handsome and majestic beasts. If they weren't so nervous I would be happy to have one in my collection.
Yes they are a very nice breed. I am breeding to release. As soon as i get some pics i will post them
