I found this guy in my driveway this morning. I had to get a couple of pictures of him. I will be releasing him tomorrow.

It was 9:00 AM central. The temp was probably in the mid 80s.

These flash pictures turned out more natural looking. This is what the snake looks like to the naked eye.

My baby black racers just started hatching yesterday. Only one has fully came out of the egg. He's a hungry or feisty little guy.

Oh? Are you captive raising some colubers? I would love to see some pipping/hatching shots! I didn't know anybody really kept racers in captivity much. Are you hatching these to release? I know a lot of people I know consider racers to be trash snakes but I think they are very handsome and majestic beasts. If they weren't so nervous I would be happy to have one in my collection.

Yes they are a very nice breed. I am breeding to release. As soon as i get some pics i will post them
