A little help here please?

Today started off crazy. I was ready to research fire bellied toads and see what I need to take care of them. This seems harder then I first thought though. I would really like to have another animal in with the toads but I don't know what to put in. I would prefer something that is in the water 24/7 but I am unable to decide what to pick. It just seems that the fbt could eat the water dwelling animal or poison it. Could you help me out here? I am somewhat confused and I am sorry if the post sounds confusing. ( I am aware that you shouldn't mix animals but I also hear that as long as the tank is big enough it shouldn't be a problem) If you think I would be better off with something other then a fbt please let me know. Sorry for the seemingly long post. I have also thinking of poison dart frogs.

poison dart frogs mixed with a FBT will surely lead to its death. This is not opinion like alot of other things on the board. This is fact! If you are interested in darts i really encourage you to make a new tank and get one. They are really awsome animals to have. But anyway back to the orginal question. FBTs really shouldnt be mixed with other animals because they are toxic. Although death isnt imediate, another animal exposed to the toxic secretions of a FBT tank will slowly be poisened. I know some people mix fire belly newts and other critters with FBTs but i have never heard of a tank like that where all the animals lived out their full lifespan. Usually the other critters die "mysteriously". Unlike poison dart frogs FBTs will never lose their poison. hoped that helped.

Ok is there any other type of frog that is as hardy as a FBT, about the same size won't kill other animals and needs both land and water to survive?

do you mean a frog that is as aquatic as a FBT? if so then im sure there are many. none that i can really think of. It sounds like you are trying to find a tank that you can mix diffrent species in. You are going to have to find some species you like and then reasearch them to see whos compatible. Most likely you are going to have to redesign you tank or get bigger one assuming your tank is 10 gallon or something.
