I don't think the first one is hypomelanistic. The second one is actually Hemidactylus turcicus. Do you have pictures of your Homonota darwinii? Where are you from?

Im from Buenos Aires, Argentine (South America). But a friend of mine brought me these geckos from Patagonia (Argentine).

it's spelled hypomelanistic, not hipo...
