At about 5 feet or so he is a rather large male. His dark phase is muddy brown almost black. When I bought him, he had mites, and a bad abcess on his tail, but now he's doing just fine.
Good to hear he is clean and healthy! Did you find a female to pair him up with?

I haven't, been looking around and did find some australis, but they were sold before I had a chance to get in touch with the people. Little buggers are hard to find.
