Here is my first clutch of racers. They sure are cute little bugs, and their heads are only as big as the tip of a cotton swab. There were originally seven that pipped, but one tucked back in and drowned in the fluid. These six hatched successfully and are doing well.
There is one that stands out from the rest of them because he/she has red rings around his/her pupils and his/her red blothces are more vibrantly colored. He/She also is yellowish on the belly while all of the others are white-bellied. Could this be a coloration defined by gender??
Is it possible that this "one" is female and all the others are male or visa-versa??
Here are some pics, although you can't spot the "Oddball" in the pics. It is definitely notible though in the flesh.
