as you know i am the guy from jersey who fought the law for my bog turtles in the mid 1990's,but the law won.anyway i need for myself to have an outlet for my interest in turtles.i dont keep turtles anymore since they listed the bog turtle fed. pro.can you blame me i made some people real mad.and iam now red flagged.i want to say a few years ago i posted a few things, and mentioned that in the early 1990's on a trip to the canaan valley w.v.for four days in summer i found three turtle eggs that one hatched a month later.i stated then that it was possibly a spotted bog cross.i am not sure.it tipped over and drowned i froze it for future dna study and it was thrown out by mistake. it was a male with a very thick tail like a bog no spots with a shell that seemed more in the middle between the two.its hard to not cry like a baby when i look back at the possible importance of this find.i will post the only photos of this turtle i have very soon feel free to comment with your opinion. enjoy your hobby everyone. d.n.a.
