Trimorphodon tau

irunfast Aug 20, 2007 10:56 PM

I was wondering if anyone has Trimorphodon tau? I am assuming very few people are working with these. I was also wondering if anyone has had any luck this year with Trimorphodon biscutatus. I have a pair, although they are not from the same locality. One is from Mt. Hopkins, while the other is from Elephant Butte in New Mexico. Any information would be appreciated.

I had two clutches of Arizonas come out about 14 babies total.
The babies are real small and a little tricky to get to eat.
Is the lyre from Elephant Butte a vilkinsoni and if so can you post a pic.

Yeah, it is a vilkinsonii and from their northern range limit. I can try to get a picture tonight when I get home. It is my favorite snake, I love the coloration on it. It is a very shy snake, rarely out except late at night. Very different from my biscutatus lambda from Mt. Hopkins AZ. That snake is much more active and a lot less shy. Could you email me, I have some questions about your breeding. Thanks,

Ian
