Hi

I now that some of you in other areas pay more for a vet. visit, but Wow!, I just went yesterday with my L. Gecko and was hit with a bill for $146.00. Exotic examination: $49.00, two different meds. $58.00, stool specimen exotix: $39.00.

You have to take them if necessary, but it is hard when things are tight now. Which there was a way to get some help with expenses.

Tell me some of you worst costs, for the same type of thing I had to get for my gecko.

Take Care TBL

You need to find a reptile vet. Exotic animal charges? That's BS.

Oh, we paid a lot more our first time with no tests done, just to be told it would die in a week. (It didn't, and we quickly found a better vet.)

I just wanted to note that most people don't know you can ask for interest free payments plans at ANY vet. It is basically part of their business. They know vet bills are somewhat of a surprise expense and they'd much rather get paid slowly, develop a customer, and fix an animal, than never get paid at all.

Hope your little guy/gal gets better and the meds work!
