Housing Monitor/Tegu

Does anyone know if you can house tegus and nile monitors togeather? I know from experience that Frilled lizards don't mix well with niles. In fact my frilled lizard which is smaller than my nile will scare the nile to death so I had to seperate them. lol

niles and tegus require completly different set ups as do frills and niles, its best not to mix anything with a nile monitor really. One day they can be friends next day the nile is eatting the other as a snack. Plus the nile is going to get big but the tegu will grow faster and may out compete the nile for food. Do both animals a favor and just have two set ups.

dude, i can't believe you'd ask that. never mix xpecies from different locales. they all have differnt needs; tegu and nile onitor are quite different in habits, habitats and so on. this would be a bad idea.
