my friend and his girlfriend have a couple anoles, one wasnt getting enough food so they gave it banana.
is that ok or did someone give them wrong info.

I don't know why it would be a problem. Some people offer fruit flavored baby food to their anoles (peach, etc). Don't see why banana wouldn't be just fine.
