Pseudoeryx gravid?

Oxyrhopus Sep 02, 2007 03:11 PM

This recent import from Surinam may be gravid? Mostly aquatic, I have gotten them to take dead rodents whereas I think they normally eat eels. This specimen seems over 3 feet long.

I just put in a dead rat pup with ones I kept before and they ate them. I heard of other folks doing the same also with no scenting. I keep water and land but they remain in the water and at night roam onto land.

Very cool. Tell us - where did they come from, how long have you had them, whats their behavior? If she gives birth let me know, they look like a species I wouldn't mind having!
