So, my girlfriend wants to get a Pacman frog at the upcomming show, and i'm supposed to help her set up a cage (it's her first herp!)

Problem is, i'm used to showy naturalistic vivs for things such as dart frogs, cresties, anoles..you know, tall, vertically oriented, full of plants cages.

I don't know how I should set up this cage. We're going to get a 10g cage, and I was thinking of maybe having an inch of hydrotron, with 3-4 inches of coco-fiber on top if that with some pothos, and a shallow water bowl. I'm assuming she's going to be getting a smaller frog.

Does that sound about right?

Help a brother out!

definatley not a small frog! but a 10 gallon is plenty of room for a pacman it is very simple the simpler the better what i recomend is a 10 gallon with about 2-3 inches of cocofibre reduce this if u want to see your frog alot and then a water dish about a quater of the tank or slightly smaller a tupperwear container is best because it is easy to clean and remove hope this is usefull they have big appetites so be prepared!! remember only feed it items half the size of the frog no larger temps should be kept around 80 then can be reduces to 75 or 70 during the night stay away from heat pads unless you put them on the side of the tank

I meant small relative to it's age, not the frog itself.

thanks for the pointers!
