my turtle has shell rot covering its shell.im trying to treat it with antifungal and antibacterieal,but i dont think it has a chance.i'll keep treating it and see what happens. attached is and old pic

I don't see any evidence of shell rot on this picture. Can you
post another picture of what he looks like now? Did you
take it to a vet to confirm shell rot?

If the turtle is treated quickly they generally do OK. Go online
and look up treatment for shell rot but first confirm that it
actually is. If you are keeping the water clean and he has
a dry basking, heating area they generally do not development
this.

Post a new pic of the turtle please

i will ry and post a new pic.you cant really see it when hes wet but when he basks and dries up its reallt covering is shell,its lke a white film that eats away at his shell slightly and now his shell has been shedding for weeks in flakes.

some recent pics.it goes from were it first started to how it is now.i cured it once but it came back,i cured it by scraping it off.

thats not shell rot, that looks like shedding scutes. rot looks like holes in the shell or plastron with softened tissue.

Hi,

I agree, that's not shell rot. He is shedding his scutes
and anytime you a little air under them it give that white
appearance.

If he sheds continuously, you may be overfeeding.
