De Venomized?

Lamiellm Sep 15, 2007 10:03 AM

Im not a hot snake person. I dont know if I could have that thought in my mind of an albino cobra sitting down stairs. I was just wondering though..I've heard of people that have these snakes de-venomized im not sure if thats the correct terminology. Doesnt this effect the snakes eating habits in a very large way??? I was just wondering because if there is a way to get one that is not venomous and it is not bad for them I may just get one for display. I have plenty of other snakes and what not just never really looked into hot items. This would be more like a display snake..the only thing im worried about also is if I never handle him I will never be able to get near him and clean his cage and what not. Just some general questions I guess. Trying to get my knowledge a little bigger!! Thanks!!

Take this to the Venomoid sub- forum.

"If I wanted your opinion I would have asked for it...."

By posting your questions, you basically opened yourself up
for people to give opinions, it's only natural. It's a heated debate here, that's why they have the venomoid forum, so it doesn't have to be rehashed over and over again. More than likely, this thread will get moved to the sub-forum, so you may want to post questions over there. You're likely to get a better reception there than in a forum where most hotkeepers are against the practice. Just some friendly advice.
