Hi guys,

how large are the cages you keep your (adult) Masticophis in?
Can you please put down some pictures?
I'm planning to build a cage of 200x60x50 cm

kind regards

Well,I only have the one male coachwhip and he's been happy in this homebuild viv/cage...size 110cm x 48cm x 46 cm.If I ever get the female I'm after I would house them in something larger so they have their own space, but not so big that they could'nt find eachother.
Look through the archives on this forum ...there are some great cages, including the one used by Bill (sighthunter),which allows the snake an outside area (very clever)...also look-up coachwhip on you-tube.

Hi Paul,

my cages are more or less the same as yours. Little bit lower and longer. I've seen the cage of Bill, awesome. Unfortunately it's to cold to do that here in The Netherlands, but you'll know what I'm talking about.
I will look at youtube right now, Thanks.

Are you going to the snakeday in Houten, The Netherlands, the first weekend of october? I do sell one male......

kind regards

Gilian
