Hey everyone. I own a white's tree frog, and he is pretty big.

I also have a problem where camel crickets have taken over my garage (they're cave crickets, don't ask me how they got here.).

I was wondering if I could solve both my frog feedings and cricket problem at the same time by feeding my frog the camel crickets. I haven't tried it yet, I wanted to be sure they sould not harm him first.

These are camel crickets: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_cricket

If anyone can tell me nay or ya, please post here as I will be checking frequently over the course of the next few days. Thanks.

that type of cricket would be fine, but its the introducing something from outside that could be dangerous. you can almost bet for sure that (if you feed the frog these for a while) that it will pick up some kind of parasites. worms are pretty common. WTF are hardy, but it's still best to try and keep them clean. i have 2 and they had lungworm and hookworm, they are easy to quarentine, but after they were clean, they were much more viberant, called much more, and were more active.

when i'm digging up gopher holes, i find these and don't see a problem in feeding them to my leo.
