My YBS is about 7 months old, and a little bigger than my palm. (I have small hands.) I am still feeding her about twice a day. In the morning i give her about 10 pellets and in the afternoon/evening maybe about 5. About what age/size should she start eating only a few times a week? Am i over feeding her?

I have a YBS that is about 9 months old. She isn't as big as my palm though. I feed her twice a day...pellets...and once a day I give her a worm. She loves them. When she sees me she begs for food. She looks very healthy.

Just feed them twice a day for a while yet. After about a year or so, feed it every other day, with perhaps a snack on off days.

I've had my res for only two years and it's the size of a football. If you're really worried, try feeding it more veggies.
