Where are all the breeders of grandis??

vareptilerescue Sep 20, 2007 02:53 PM

I bought a 1.2 trio of v-nigras last weekend at MARS, but they are too small for the display I set up at school(they can get out). I really did want a larger species, so I've been trying to find Grandis. No one seems to breed them anymore! Where are all the grandis breeders? I've googled and been to umpteen dozen websites, but can't find anyone that has them. Any help is appreciated.

I have about 10 well started hatchlings right now. I stopped posting them because no one wanted to buy a captive bred grandis when they could buy a wild caught import for cheap.

Drat.... that's a shame. I needed adults because the little ones could get out of the vivarium I set up. I did eventually find a lone adult male, and he's lovely.

It's strange that the Phelsumas are so popular, but not grandis... a few years ago they were everywhere.

I breed grandis. Have 1.3.4. And have produced about 35 babies from 1 pair over the past 2 years. They are there, just not everywere. and amazing species though. My favorite phelsuma!
