porky88 Sep 22, 2007 04:15 PM

is there a false shedding phase??

any interruptions during the shedding could be the cause?

Woke up this morning to find a shed.

He only shone the signs of shedding approaching for one day,
then went on for two days showing none of these signs(blueness in the eyes, none to little movement) and even ate during these days.
Wow Shedding on the third day!
Someone please explain this to me!
Please!

Right before the actual shed, the snake will go into "the blue", which you already recognize. At this time, there is a fluid separating the old and new skin. In a few days, the fluid is reabsorbed into the skin and the snake looks normal again. It is shortly after this that the snake will actually shed it's skin.
