Is it an Argentine Black and White? This is the time that many are preparing for hibernation and will stop eating. However you really need to provide more info to get more help. Tell us the species, age, and tell us about your set up: substrate, temps, size, etc.

Sounds like he could be slowing down for hibernation. Arg B&Ws hibernate for the winter, even young ones. They dig a burrow and will remain unactive for 4 to 6 months. They do lose wieght but then they have one hell of an appitite when the wake up.
Has your tegu moved away from his heat sorces and is less active now? Also what are your cage temps and what are u useing as bedding?

i use like a shreded coconut husk substrate, to big to eat and i feed him out of the cage for often then not, he has been spending more time burried and less time under the lamp.
