Chinese Water Dragons

fascination Sep 24, 2007 08:10 AM

I am trying to put a group of cb chinese water dragons together, and finding it VERY hard to do! I find it amazing how such a "common" lizard appears to be mostly available as an import. Of course I would like to try and find animals 6 months to a year old to start with, but it seems like everyone I talk to has the same answer....imports. Does anyone out there know of a breeder, or of any available? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I breed them but i don't have any available. I don't know where you are located but i know of another breeder in Monroeville Pa right outside of Pittsburgh. He works at a pet store called the Enclosure. I can't speak for other breeders but i have had alot of difficulty in hatching them i usually lose about half of each clutch. I know my problem is maintaining humidity. They are great lizards and require a large enclusure. I house my pair in a 6'lx4'tx3'd enclosure and my female is the queen she bullies the male constantly.
